The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has imposed a four-year ban from all sport on the Mixed Martial Arts South Africa and Extreme Fighting Championship (EFC) athlete, Demarte Pena, following an appeal by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) on a reprimand rendered by the SAIDS Independent Doping Hearing Panel. Mr. Pena tested positive for Testosterone. His period of ineligibility began on 21 June 2018 and will serve until and including 10th March 2022 with credit given for the period of provisional suspension already served.
