The SA Institute for Drug-Free Sport (SAIDS) has imposed a four-year ban from all sport on the Athletics South Africa (ASA) athlete, Burger Lambrecht, following an anti-doping rule violation. Mr. Lambrecht tested positive for a metabolite of Dehydrochloromethyl-Testosterone His period of ineligibility began on 7th May 2018 (the date his provisional suspension was imposed) and will serve until and including 6th May 2022.
